embodied confidence · relational intelligence · cultural fluency · human connection
I’m the founder of Naya Rasa, a coaching and digital media studio
My mission is to explore how we become more human, trusted, and culturally resonant in a world shaped by screens, algorithms, and AI.
If you want your value to be understood, trusted, and remembered, you’re in the right place.
I work with subject-matter experts whose expertise isn’t translating into the recognition it deserves. Through 1:1 coaching, I help close the gap between what you know and what others experience — so you can communicate clearly, trust yourself, and build a presence people remember.
I also partner with B2B brands that want to earn attention rather than manufacture it, through human-centered storytelling, cultural insight, founder-led content, and thoughtful partnerships.
The places, work, and experiences that shaped Naya Rasa today
01 —
MUMBAI → LOS ANGELES
India has always felt like my motherland. I was born in Mumbai, and my family immigrated to the United States when I was 6 years old. I’ve always felt deeply connected to my Kashmiri heritage — the food, customs, music, films, and very particular ways we gather.
Social but shy, and observant by nature, I was equally happy playing with kids my own age or sitting around listening to my grandmother and her friends. Looking back, I think that’s where my fascination with people began through inter-generational connectedness, theater class, and through playing team sports.
02 —
BERKELEY → SILICON VALLEY
At UC Berkeley, I studied Political Science and Public Policy in an environment that was intense, rigorous, and formative. More than anything, Berkeley taught me how to read closely, write clearly, think critically — and question everything.
I then spent eight years across Silicon Valley tech startups, primarily at Series B companies spanning HR tech, marketing tech, and fintech. Along the way, I interviewed with roughly 250 people across the industry and closed more than $20M in deals — giving me an unusually broad view of how startups, people, and ideas grow.
03 —
SAN FRANCISCO → BARCELONA
As a community manager with Lean In San Francisco, I helped create events and workshops for professional women, deepening my interest in connection, belonging, and the environments that help people thrive.
Post-pandemic, I moved to Barcelona to earn my MBA at ESADE Business School. During those years, I learned a lot from my classmates. They expanded my perspective on community, ambition, and what it means to build a life — and work — across cultures.
A difficult chapter afterward forced me to reconsider how I wanted to work, live, and define success. A late ADHD diagnosis also helped me understand something I had experienced firsthand: being capable and communicating your capability are two different skills.

NAYA RASA→ THE WORLD
Naya Rasa means “new essence.” In many ways, it became mine too.
After a period of slowing down, rebuilding, and serving my community in Los Angeles, I came back to entrepreneurship with much more clarity. This time, I knew I wanted to build something that could move with me.
I started with my column, Cultural Capital, on LinkedIn, and filming short videos with strangers and my friends, called Field Notes. It's launching from Los Angeles, but not exclusively for Los Angeles. I want the brand to be shaped by the people and places I encounter along the way.
Next stops: Lima, South Korea, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
